Description:
Community Education is working with the Youth Enrichment League (YEL) to bring fencing classes to Winona. Olympic Coach Ro Sobalvarro now heads up the curriculum, instructor training, and tournament consultation. Instructors bring knowledge, refined coaching skills, and favorite fencing games and arm bands. Safety is their first priority. The YEL will supply safety swords, protective masks, chest plates, and jackets in a high-octane, inclusive environment. They will keep it fun too! This class is for students entering grades 3rd - 12th.
